2 most important and best time for du’a in Ramadaan
When the prophet saw. Was asked
“O Messenger of Allah “Muhammad” which du’a is most heard or most accepted” inquired Abu Umar Radi Allahu ta’ala, the Prophet saw. Said “Du’a in the last third of the night”. This is the time before FAZR
So why is this time is so special?
Because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has specified this hour for his majestic descent, he descent every night to the lowest heaven and calls out to those who will invoke him, yet this is the time when we are the most negligent because we are fast asleep and it is not easy to leave the comfort of your bed and choose to wake up and make du’a.
You won’t be able to do this unless you have proper IKHLAS and an overwhelming RAGHBAH ambition. You won’t leave your coziness unless you truly believe and assured and confident that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala will respond you when you call upon him at this hour you won’t leave your slumber unless you are truly sincere and genuine to get what you want you won’t leave your relaxation unless you are heartfelt in your TAWBAH and seeking forgiveness so when you display this unwavering IKHLAS, RAGHBAH and abandon your bed to invoke your Rabb this time Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala promises assured positive response to your call he comes down to the lowest heaven and says who will call upon me so that I will answer him. At this very moment if you asked his forgiveness he may forgive you because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has promised to forgive you if you ask his forgiveness. This is a special moment which we should not miss. at least not during Ramadaan because this great month makes this hour more special.
The prophet saw. Encourage taking Suhoor.
He said “eating Suhoor is Barakah” Blessing. Suhoor gives you the strength you need to worship our Rabb throughout the day for the Salaat, the Quran and the Zikr.
In Ramadaan, a starving person cannot function well! At this moment we don’t see any interest. And the heartiness which is required to rightly perform the fast because in fasting you also need to keep away from the bad language and immoral behaviour!
Allah’s messenger Muhammad saw. Said if one of you is being cursed or annoyed he should say I’m fasting, I’m fasting and suhoor helps you in keeping up with this etiquette because it protects you from intense hunger, hunger which can trigger bad manners that decrease your rewards so make sure you wake up for Suhoor, a few minutes earlier and schedule some time for du’a and istagfar.
And let me tell you something that will make you even more eager to make du’a at this precious time. In the Quran when Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala praise his believing slaves those who will enter Jannah and live there forever, he mentioned that one of the distinctive qualities in that they use to seek forgiveness before down and in the hour before dawn they were asking Allah for forgiveness and the other valuable opportunity for du’a arrives just before maghrib when you are hungry, thirsty and weak you realise how vulnerable you are how weak you are without just daily basics need which Allah provides to you.
At this time your du’a is more likely to be answered.
But aren’t we always too busy preparing Iftaar at this hour so much that we don’t realise that these precious movements are slipping away unnoticed and unused?
So close your kitchen a few minutes before Iftaar, for du’a and istagfar.
Hope you like it please share it with all the brothers and sisters.
